How to Apply
- Check the substrate: rigid, clean, dry and true, with deviations beyond 2mm evened out and moisture below 2%.
- Cut for the curve: split Grey Matt pieces along the pre-cuts to suit the radius and dry fit one section before any adhesive is mixed.
- Fix with C2 adhesive: rake a bed of roughly 3mm using a number 3 notched trowel, press strips in while it is fresh and tape them while it cures.
- Keep joints consistent: at least 2mm, widening to 3mm on unstable backings, with self levelling spacers and no stagger beyond 25%.
- Grout thoroughly: force grout into every pre-cut, wash off excess with a pH neutral product before it dries, and use epoxy in wet spots.
Colour and Finish
Grey Matt has 6 faces, shade variation and irregular texture on the datasheet, so pull from multiple boxes to spread tonal movement around a column. A grout close to the tile keeps lines quiet; a darker one sharpens them. Other matt colours include White, Anise Green, Sky and Lilac, beside a glossy Kit-Kat group.
