Kit-Kat was made with bends in mind. Dune’s catalogue includes a drawing of rounded corners formed by cutting the pieces along their pre-cuts, and its website calls the series light, easy to handle and able to cover curved areas. Dune Kit Kat Mosaic Tile in Grass Gloss Finish is 8mm porcelain measuring 115x231mm, with a glossy finger relief divided by those pre-cuts.
The Grass glaze is a dark bottle green that shifts into olive and almost black from one finger to the next, part of a collection Dune says draws on Japanese aesthetics. The datasheet records water absorption of E ≤ 0.5%, breaking strength above 35 N/mm² and a pass for frost resistance.

Where to Use
- Curved walls, rounded corners and wrapped columns
- Shower walls, which Dune ticks (shower floors are marked NO)
- Exterior feature walls, also ticked on the use icons
- Steam room walls and other areas of high vapour condensation
- Pool walls, a use Dune marks; never pool floors or steps
How to Apply
- Prepare the wall: firm, level, dry and clean, with unevenness over 2mm levelled and moisture under 2%.
- Select the adhesive: Dune specifies C2 cementitious adhesive for porcelain; trial it on at least two pieces first.
- Set from the bottom up: comb a thin 3mm layer with a no. 3 notched trowel and place each piece while the adhesive is soft. Never dot and dab.
- Keep joints consistent: at least 2mm, or 3mm on plasterboard, matching the width of the pre-cuts, with self levelling spacers and offsets of 25% or less.
- Grout fully and clean: fill every joint and pre-cut groove, choose epoxy grout near water, and wipe residue with a wet sponge.
Colour and Finish
Grass is graded V4 for shade variation, the top grade in Dune’s advice to mix tiles from several boxes, and the sheet adds 6 faces, graphic variation and an irregular texture. Sibling gloss colours include Snow, Ivory, Musgo, Water, Ocean and Noche; the matt line offers White, Grey, Anise Green, Sky and Lilac.
