Description
Dune Kit-Kat Mosaic Tile in Anise Green Matt Finish brings a pale, sage leaning green to a wall without gloss, so the colour reads evenly from across a room. Each 115x231mm porcelain piece is 8mm thick and divided by pre-cuts into slender vertical fingers, a mosaic effect Dune says is inspired by Japanese aesthetics.
On its matt product pages Dune calls the relief smooth and concave, and pitches this finger tile at small spaces, decorative walls indoors or outdoors, and commercial bars, counters, shelves and columns. The datasheet records water absorption of E ≤ 0.5%, breaking strength above 35 N/mm², passes for frost and crazing, scratch hardness 6 and a stain resistance result of 5.

How to Apply
- Ready the wall: solid, true, dry and dust free, with cracks filled, dips over 2mm corrected and moisture below 2%.
- Choose a C2 adhesive: Dune specifies C2 cementitious adhesive for porcelain, so trial two Anise Green pieces on the real substrate first.
- Spread and set: lay adhesive around 3mm deep, rake it with a number 3 notched trowel and bed each piece while soft, never dot or dab fixing.
- Space the joints: 2mm minimum, 3mm on plasterboard, matching the pre-cut width, with self levelling spacers and offsets no greater than 25%.
- Grout and clean: pack every joint and pre-cut, then lift residue at once with a pH neutral cleaner, never an abrasive pad.
Colour and Finish
The datasheet lists 6 faces, shade variation and irregular texture, so blend pieces from several boxes as you fix. Grout colour changes the finger pattern, so trial a few pieces. Other matt colours in the range include White, Grey, Sky and Lilac; glossy colours are sold separately.
Important Notes
- Dune’s installation notes say pre-cut models such as Kit-Kat may have small pores along the grooves, which vanish once grouted and help the grout key in.
- Anise Green shade can drift between production runs, so buy the whole job from one batch.
- All floor uses are marked NO and no slip test is listed: walls only, and matt is not a slip rating.
- Before the first piece goes up, look over colour, finish and thickness, because Dune accepts no claims on installed Kit-Kat.
