How to Apply
- Set out the pattern: fix the layout before starting; Dune does not recommend running bond offsets over 25%.
- Get the surface ready: firm, flat, dry, clean and under 2% moisture, with variations over 2mm corrected.
- Fix with C2 adhesive: apply a thin bed near 3mm, notch with a No. 3 trowel and place tiles while workable, bottom up. Do not dab.
- Control the joints: hold 2mm minimum, 3mm on plasterboard or thermally unstable walls, using self-levelling spacers so long edges sit flush.
- Grout and wipe down: grout clean, dry joints at least 2mm deep and clear surplus before it dries with a wet sponge or neutral pH product.
Colour and Finish
Pale glazes show texture more than dark ones, and Niebla’s uneven gloss throws soft highlights along each piece, with a faint grey cast rather than a bright white. With 21 faces, graphic and shade vary gently, keeping a large pale wall from looking sterile; mix boxes as you lay.
