Like the paver, it’s a dense porcelain tile rather than natural stone, so it won’t stain, fade or need periodic sealing the way real bluestone does.
Using the matching paver and riser together gives a continuous, uniform bluestone look across a whole outdoor area — pathways, steps and pool edges all in the same colour and texture, with the riser’s drop edge doing the job a mitred or bullnosed natural stone edge would otherwise need custom cutting for.
