A hybrid board, 7mm thick, with an embossed finish and Unilin Click installation. It’s made by Sunstar Flooring, who supply the Authentic Hybrid range through Multifors.
Behind the colour and finish, 704 Marri’s real numbers are what determine how it holds up in daily use — a 0.5mm wear layer, an AC4 Light Commercial rating, a 5 Star acoustic rating and P3 slip resistance together give a genuine read on performance rather than just first impressions. Underneath, it’s built on an SPC core with Ceramic surface protection, a combination that’s what keeps a floor like this performing consistently from the first box to the last rather than varying noticeably across a larger room. Each box covers 2.01sqm across 6 planks, making it straightforward to work out how many boxes a given room actually needs once its area is measured. With 5 pattern variations across the boards, the floor avoids an obviously repeating look once laid across a larger area.

How to Install
Installation should be completed by suitably qualified trades and must adhere to any relevant NCC & building requirements.
- Clean Surface — Ensure the subfloor is free of debris and structurally sound.
- Leveling — Limit rises and falls to a maximum of 3mm over a 1000mm radius. Smooth imperfections to ensure a maximum 1mm deviation over 250mm area.
- Ventilation & Humidity — Timber subfloors should be well ventilated and meet building regulations for humidity. Concrete subfloors should not exceed 4.8% moisture.
- Maximum Temperature — Never exceed 28°C.

Care & Maintenance
Minor indents or scratches causing indentation of the surface: Timbermate wax sticks are available from hardware stores and online, numerous tutorials are also available online.
Other coatings and more invasive steps are available and should be discussed with your flooring professional.
