ROBERTS R679 Carpet Latex is a compounded latex product used for the sealing of raw edges, strengthening worn backing, replacing damaged nap, and adhering pad underlays to Subfloors.
DOMESTIC UNDERLAYS:
- Apply a liberal amount of latex to a dry, clean, sound, and smooth substrate.
- Place underlay into the wet latex and install underlays by manufacturers’ recommendations.

- Work latex into the edge and allow it to dry before seaming.
WORN BACKING:
- Lay the carpet face down.
- Apply a liberal amount of latex to the carpet backing with a brush or roller to the areas that need attention to ensure a good bond.
- Allow the carpet to dry in position for 4-5 hours.
CLEAN UP:
- Clean tools immediately after use with water.
- The dried adhesive may be cleaned off using ROBERTS R550
