Instead of bouncing highlights off every finger, Dune Kit-Kat Mosaic Tile in Sky Matt Finish lets daylight fall softly into the concave fingers, so the vertical lines show as gentle shadow. The light blue glaze grades slightly paler along each finger, over 8mm porcelain measuring 115x231mm.

How to Apply
- Prepare first: solid, level, dry and clean, with moisture under 2% and irregularities above 2mm corrected.
- Adhesive choice: fix porcelain with C2 cementitious adhesive, trialling a couple of Sky pieces first.
- Bed each piece: comb a roughly 3mm layer with a number 3 notched trowel and press tiles firmly into soft adhesive.
- Joint and align: 2mm minimum, 3mm on walls with thermal movement, piece gaps equal to the pre-cuts, self levelling spacers, offsets within 25%.
- Grout and clean up: grout every finger line fully, using epoxy grout in wet areas, and clean immediately without abrasives.
Colour and Finish
Sky Matt comes with 6 faces, shade variation and an irregular texture, so the blue moves slightly between pieces; mix boxes while fixing. Under side light the surface picks out the fingers through shadow rather than shine. Grout tone shifts the result, so try a small test panel. Other matt colours include White, Grey, Anise Green and Lilac, alongside glossy Kit-Kat colours.
Important Notes
- Dune explains Kit-Kat and other pre-cut tiles may have small pores in the grooves, concealed by grout and helpful to its adhesion.
