Description

At 147x147mm, Agadir Niebla works as a straight stack, a diagonal or a chequerboard, and an offset bond suits too if the offset stays within the 25% Dune allows. Niebla means mist, and this is the pale misty white of the Agadir range from Dune: 9mm porcelain, gloss glazed over an irregular relief.
An even white glaze can look clinical; Agadir, drawn from zellige and Berber crafts, varies in tone and surface instead. Dune lists breaking strength above 30 N/mm² and water absorption of 0.5% to 3%. Niebla is a wall tile, given its Class 0 slip test result under UNE-EN 16165 Annex C.

How to Apply
- Plan the layout: fix two or more test pieces, as Dune advises, and set out offsets so no locked joint exceeds 25%.
- Prepare the surface: firm, level, clean and dry under 2% moisture; level anything uneven by more than 2mm.
- Fix with C2 adhesive: a thin bed of around 3mm, notched with a no. 3 trowel, tiles placed while it is soft, working up from floor level.
- Space with care: 2mm joints minimum, 3mm on plasterboard, with self-levelling spacers to stop lippage.
- Grout: trial the grout colour first, then work it into dry, clean joints with a depth of 2mm or more, using epoxy grout in wet zones.
Colour and Finish
Twelve faces and the shade and graphic variation Dune notes make a Niebla wall read as layered, misty white rather than one flat white, with the gloss shimmering over its irregular texture. Mix tiles from several boxes while you fix. Pale grout keeps the look quiet; a contrasting grout outlines each square and makes the grid the feature. Niebla shares the square format with other colours including Agua, Lago, Piedra, Selva and matt Cotto Oscuro.

- Tone differs slightly between batches; purchase the job and cuts from the same batch.

- Confirm colour, finish and thickness before a single tile goes up, as Dune rejects claims on installed material.
- A Class 0 wall tile: avoid shower bases, stairs and ramps, and pool floors or steps, which the Dune use key limits to Class 3.
