Description
Arena takes its name from sand, and its warm honey beige glaze is the quietest note in a range Dune built on Moroccan zellige and Berber handcraft. The Agadir tiles borrow the look of those traditions: colour laid on generously, a relief that is never quite even, and a surface that reflects light in patches.
This one is a 70x280mm porcelain subway tile, 9mm thick, glazed in gloss by Dune. Its datasheet lists breaking strength above 30 N/mm², water absorption between 0.5% and 3%, a stain resistance result of 5 and chemical resistance GA. Slip is Class 0, so Arena is intended for walls, where its sandy tone suits bathrooms, kitchens and alfresco walls.

How to Apply
- Get the surface right: repair cracks, level anything out by more than 2mm, and make sure the wall is firm, clean and below 2% moisture.
- Pick the adhesive: porcelain calls for C2 cementitious adhesive under Dune’s guidance; try two tiles before committing.
- Comb the bed: apply a thin coat near 3mm with a no. 3 notched trowel and seat tiles into it while workable, with no spot fixing.
- Mind joints and offset: 2mm minimum joints, 3mm where thermal movement is severe, self levelling spacers to stop lippage, and a stagger of no more than 25%.
- Grout and wash off: fill fully, clear surplus at once with a damp sponge or neutral pH cleaner, and choose epoxy grout for extra waterproofing near water.
Colour and Finish
Twenty one graphic faces and a gloss that gathers in the low points of the texture give Arena a gentle variation from light sand to deeper honey. The randomness reads best when tiles from several open boxes are mixed on the wall rather than laid box by box. Arena pairs with the paler Ivory or the matt Cotto Oscuro in the same subway size.

- Class 0 slip (UNE-EN 16165 Annex C) means Arena is not for wet floors, shower floors or outdoor paving.
