Max Bond Max Prime Porous Primer
– 15 Litre Flask
MJS Max Prime is a water based acrylic primer designed to prime absorbent substrates prior to the application of water-based adhesives.
Used For:
- Most highly absorbent substrates such as concrete, timber, solid plaster, plasterboard, cement sheet and cementitious screeds.
Applicable Standard:
- Australian/NZ Standard 2455.1.1995 – “Textile Floor Coverings Installation Practice”.
Surface Preparation:
- All surfaces to be primed should be dry, smooth, and free of any contaminates that may affect final bond.
- It is highly recommended that all absorbent sub-floors be primed with MAX PRIME prior to the application of adhesive.
- The minimum sub floor temperature prior to commencing preparation or primer application is 10ºC.
Method of Application:
- Max Prime should be applied evenly over the entire sub-floor by Soft Broom or Brush.
- Highly absorbent sub floors may require a second coat of Max Prime.
- Allow first coat to dry prior to applying further coats
Clean Up:
- Clean tools immediately after use with warm soapy water.
Shelf Life:
- Up to 12 months in sealed container at 20ºC.
