Getting a clean cut through porcelain, ceramic or natural stone means pairing the right saw with the right blade. This category puts a 600mm wet saw for long, straight cuts alongside diamond blades for both saw and grinder use.
The DTA Centaur 600mm Wet Saw uses water to cool the blade and keep dust down during straight cuts. The Diarex Stinger has an ultra thin turbo design, and DTA Boss Professional blades have a continuous rim. DTA also makes White Lightning and Boss Super Turbo blades, while Siri offers slotted rim blades as well as turbo blades in 250mm and 300mm sizes. A continuous rim gives porcelain a tidier edge, whereas a turbo rim gives up some finish in exchange for speed.
