STAIN PROOF Porcelain and Quartz Sealer is a premium impregnating sealer specifically designed for porcelain and quartz surfaces. It features nano size sealing molecules that will seal the micro pores in polished porcelain and quartz surfaces. This technology has been developed specifically for surfaces with low absorption rates non an easy to use, non film-forming sealer.

How To Use
1. TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL, INCONSPICUOUS AREA FIRST. Allow a 24-hour cure time to determine the ease of application and desired results.
2. Apply when surface temperature is between 40 – 95°F (5 – 35°C). Surface must be dry, clean and free of residues.
3. DO NOT thin product
4. Application rates: 200 – 300 sf/qt if using STAIN PROOF Porcelain and Quartz Sealer as a two-coat process that includes pre-sealing prior to grouting. 400 – 500 sf/qt if sealing a finished, grouted installation or quartz countertop. Visit stain-proof.com for our coverage chart.
5. Generously apply using a low pressure hand sprayer or lambswool applicator pad. Surfaces should have a mirror like ‘wet’ look for 30 seconds. Avoid contact with surrounding areas. Wait for approximately 20 minutes, but, before the surface dries, polish the surface thoroughly with clean, dry, micro fiber towels or similar, to remove any excess sealer. Moistening cloth with STAIN PROOF Porcelain and Quartz Sealer will ease polishing. Wait 24 hours to grout; this allows for the proper chemical bonding of STAIN PROOF Porcelain and Quartz Sealer to the porcelain’s surface. Once grout has cured, the second coat may be applied following the same techniques used for the first coat.
6. If sealing a finished and grouted installation or Quartz countertop, follow the application techniques listed in step #5, only applying one liberal coat of Stain Proof Porcelain and Quartz Sealer.
7. Use an organic solvent e.g. denatured alcohol to clean equipment.
NOTE: Sealer will NOT prevent surface etching, scuff marks or wear and may lighten or darken some surfaces. Spills should be cleaned up immediately to minimize absorption.

Storage
Store STAIN PROOF Porcelain and Quartz Sealer in a well ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed. Keep cool and locked up. IN CASE OF Fire: Use alcohol resistant foam or normal protein foam for extinction

Disposal
Dispose of STAIN PROOF Porcelain and Quartz Sealer contents in accordance with applicable local/ national/regional/international regulations.

Application Notes
1. Porcelain and Quartz Sealer is a one coat process.
2. When using as a pre-sealer to help with removing excess grout, apply as directed in step #5 above.
3. Once the grout has cured, the grout may then be sealed. Check with the grout manufacturer for grout cure times. Coverage for 1⁄4” grout joints is 1,200 linear ft/qt and for 1/8” grout joints is 2,400 linear ft/qt. Excess sealer is easily removed.
4. IMPORTANT REMINDER: When sealing grout with Porcelain and Quartz Sealer, your grout will repel stains from both water and oil-based materials.

First Aid
If exposed or concerned get medical advice.
IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
If skin irritation occurs get medical advice.
IF INHALED: If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison center or doctor.
