Wall Tiles

Tiles specifically labeled as Wall Tiles are generally softer, or more brittle, than Floor Tiles. Hence the lower capacity to either withstand impact, stress or scratching. Tiles designated as suitable only for Walls are generally decorative, whether it be for their texture, colour, or shape.
Note that most floor tiles are suitable for use on walls, but due to their greater thicknesses and weight characteristics, these heavier tiles may require the wall substrate to be strengthened, particularly when tiling is envisaged to the full wall height.
