Product Description
Soudal Strong as Nails Fix It is a Solvent based high performance, gap filling
construction adhesive. High bond strength. Suitable for vertical and horizontal
bonding applications, both inside and outside. Does not attack Polystyrene.
Suitable for bonding of two non-porous substrates (use transfer method).

Shelf life
- 24 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place at
temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
Substrates
Substrates:
- Various porous and non-porous surfaces such as wood, concrete, stone
and other materials commonly used in construction.
Nature:
- Clean, free of dust and grease.
Surface preparation:
- No pretreatment required.
- Soudal Strong As Nails Fix It has excellent adhesion on most
substrates. - There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bituminous
substrates. - We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on any substrate.
Application method
- All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and
loose materials. - Cut the tip off the cartridge, screw on the nozzle and trim to the
required angle and bead size. - Apply in beads onto one surface, press together strongly and maintain
parts together for 24 hours with temporary fasteners or by clamping. - For the bonding of heavy materials and of drywall panels use the
transfer method: Apply adhesive onto one of the substrates, press the parts
together strongly and release immediately. Wait for up to 5 minutes and then return
parts together and press together. Strong bond after 24 hours, full cure up to 48
hours. - Store in cool and dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C.
Cleaning:
- Fresh with Soudal Swipex or Adhesive Remover.
- Cured with Soudal Adhesive Remover or removed mechanically.

- With the same material

Remarks
- When making the connections, the pressure and not the duration of the
compression will determine the ultimate strength. - In case of overhead applications a combination with mechanical fixing
is required. - Do not use as a mirror adhesive.
- Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
