Environex Hi-Lite Semi-Penetrating Sealer

Environex Hi-Lite Semi-Penetrating Sealer is a unique solvent based product made especially for the concrete paving industry. Environex Hi-Lite Semi-Penetrating Sealer will darken pavers but will not create a shiny or slippery surface. It is particularly well suited to new pavers where the customer wants a darker colour. Charcoal, Red and Yellow are 3 colours where the result is a much deeper shade than the manufactured colour. Environex Hi-Lite Semi-Penetrating Sealer will also rejuvenate old faded pavers that have lost their colour over the years. Accredited slip tests have found Environex Hi-Lite Semi-Penetrating Sealer when applied correctly has a minimal effect on the slip factor of the paver. We recommend that a small test area be done if slip is a concern.

APPLICATION

Ensure the area to be sealed is clean and dry.
Newly laid pavers or stone surfaces should be left to dry for ~14 days prior to sealing.
Apply either by a heavy duty sprayer or a lambswool applicator.
Two even coats should be applied approximately 2 hours apart.
It is common for the first coat to look patchy – any flat spots after 2 coats should have some more sealer applied.
Three coats may be necessary on very porous pavers.
More coats will result in more shine.
Allow 12 hours before walking on or using the surface.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Coverage:
10 to 12 square metres per litre per coat

Re-Treatment:
Hi-Lite Seal does not require stripping and can be re applied very easily.
Clean the area using Klen HD Cleaner and allow to dry.
Apply one or two coats of Hi-Lite Seal depending on the wear and tear.
This should only be necessary every 2-4 years.
(Less for commercial areas).

CAUTION

Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing vapour or spray mist.
