Tiles are an age-old means of lining floors and walls with a decorative, water resistant finish. Since the days of the early Greeks, where tiled mosaics added theatre to their magnificent baths, we have been finding new ways to line our wet area walls and floors. Hence we arrive at today, where ceramics, porcelains, marble and all manner of stone finishes are used to decorate not only our bathrooms but our homes and outdoors as well.
