SAS Tradies Choice WB Acoustic Adhesive – 15kg Pail

SAS Tradies Choice WB Acoustic Adhesive is a premium high performance acrylic based adhesive designed for the installation of Acoustic underlayment. SAS Tradies Choice WB Acoustic Adhesive has excellent plasticiser resistance and is formulated to provide quick initial grab and exhibit excellent ‘re-bound’ characteristics.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces to be bonded with SAS Tradies Choice WB Acoustic Adhesive should be dry, smooth, and free of any contaminants that may affect final bond. All surfaces must be prepared in accordance with current Australian Standards 1884.2021 – Floor coverings — Resilient sheet and tiles — Installation practices – including moisture testing. It is recommended that all highly absorbent sub floors be primed with Master primer prior to the application of adhesive. The minimum sub floor temperature prior to commencing preparation or adhesive application is 10°C.

APPLICATION

• Apply SAS Tradies Choice WB Acoustic Adhesive using a 3.2mm x 3.2mm x 3.2mm “V” notched spreader.
• Coverage should be in the vicinity of 2m2 per litre.
• Adhesive can be allowed to tack-up prior to placing the floor covering into the wet film of adhesive. Tack-up time will depend on atmospheric conditions. Always ensure complete transfer of adhesive to the floor covering has occurred.
• Complete installation according to manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not allow heavy traffic for 24 hours.

CLEAN UP

Clean tools immediately after use with warm soapy water.
