SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer – 1 and 5 Litres

SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer is a fast-drying water-based acrylic primer.
SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer is used for porous and non-porous substrates such as existing tiles, vinyl and carpet and vinyl adhesive residue. It can also be used over old water-based paints (but is NOT to be used over oil based paints).

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must be clean, dry, firm and free of dust, oil, grease, wax and curing compounds.
The substrate must be installed according to the relevant standards and manufacturer recommendations.
All porous surfaces must be primed with SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer.
For non-porous surfaces such as existing tiles, adhesives must be primed using SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer neat.

APPLICATIONS

Porous Substrate:
Priming of porous substrates such as concrete fibre-cement sheet dilute SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer 3 parts water to 1-part Master Primer. Apply primer by roller or brush making sure the entire area is primed.
Allow to cure for 25 minutes before tiling or waterproofing.

Non-Porous Substrate:

Priming of porous substrates such as concrete f/c sheet dilute SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer 3 parts water to 1-part Master Primer. Apply primer by roller or brush making sure the entire area is primed.
Allow to cure for 25 minutes before tiling or waterproofing.

COVERAGE

Porous Substrate: 9m2 per Litre
Non-Porous Substrate: 6m2 per Litre

PACKAGING

SAS Master Primer is available in 1 and 5 Litre containers

PRECAUTIONS

• Do NOT apply SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer on substrates subject to rising damp.
• Do NOT apply SAS Tradies Choice Master Primer on tiles that have wax or any other contaminants.
