Characteristics:
– Aqueous solution of surface-active substances
– Especially formulated for delicate marble and natural stone substrates
– Reduces the risk of staining from smoothing agents
– Dermatologically tested ingredients, will not dry out your skin
– Keeps the shine of the sealant surface intact
– Colouring pigments of the sealant are not washed off
– Use in undiluted condition only

– Due to the results of the in-vivo compatibility test (test report of Institute Fresenius, 65232 Taunustein, Germany) Maxisil Smoothing Agent is classified as harmless in terms of a potential skin irritating effect

Application information:
For best results, do not leave large amounts of Smoothing agent on substrates. If this occurs, dried residues can cause adverse effects on the sealants surface i.e. (matt / bright spots). We recommended using smoothing agent sparingly. E.g. dip smoothing tool (Maxisil Applicator) into the liquid only.
To avoid stains / discolouring on natural stone substrates, excess smoothing agent should be removed with clear water before drying. If excess smoothing agent liquid is not removed, stains and discoloration may occur on some natural stone substrates.
PLEASE NOTE: On very sensitive natural stones (e. g. Nero Impala or Nero Assoluto) the use of Maxisil Smoothtex N Smoothing agent and other smoothing agents can lead to stains and discoloration, which may not be able to be removed.
Due to the variety of natural stone substrates, it’s highly recommended to test on a small area, prior to application.
Please observe the recommended shelf life, printed onto the packaging.
5L and 10L containers are equipped with “Anti-bubble system”.
When tooling off matt finish Maxisil colours with Maxisil Smoothtex N – please be aware: The joint should be tooled off once, with a smoothing tool / Applicator immersed in Maxisil Smoothtex N Smoothing Agent. Do not make repeated passes, as too many repeat passes with the smoothing tool will change a matt finish to a gloss finish.
