Dy-Mark Spray and Mark Water Based – 350g

General

Dy-Mark Spray and Mark Water based is a low toxicity marking paint that features an advanced UV resistant formula and a 360°C valve for any angle application. Dy-Mark Spray and Mark Water Based is a workplace friendly paint ideal for; construction, landscaping and civil works applications. Dy-Mark Spray and Mark Water Based is suitable for use with the Long Arm Handle and 2-Wheel Spot Marking Handle, also available from Dy-Mark.

Directions For Use

Suitable Surfaces:

  • Concrete, bitumen, steel, timber and grass.

Ideal Application Temperature:

  • Between 5ºC and 40ºC.
  • Avoid use in windy conditions.

Before Spraying:

  • Shake can for at least 45 seconds AFTER the mixing ball begins to rattle.
  • Shake can occasionally during use.

Application:

  • Hold can UPRIGHT or in the INVERTED position (upside down), and spray with the nozzle approximately 10-15cm from the surface. Adjust the spray width by moving closer or further away from the surface to be sprayed.

Coverage:

  • Will produce 200+ ‘X’ marks, 80 to 100 lineal metres in a 50mm wide continuous line, or will cover 4 – 6m2 (depending on the surface and colour used).

Drying Time:

  • Touch dry in 5 minutes (@25ºC)
  • Drying time will be slower in cold and humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film build is applied.

After Spraying:

  • Prevent blocking by holding the can upright and spraying until only clear gas escapes. Also wipe spray tip of the nozzle clean of paint. Clean up wetpaint with Dy-Mark Acetone or General Purpose Thinner.

Caution:

  • Painted surfaces may become slippery when wet. Refer to disclaimer in the TDS page 3.

Storage

  • Store locked up.
  • Protect from sunlight.
  • Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50ºC/12ºC.
  • Store in a well-ventilated place.

Disposal

Pressurised container:

  • Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
  • Aerosol should be completely emptied prior to disposal.
  • Dispose of contents/container according to regional regulations.
