Davco Tile and Grout Cleaner

Davco Tile and Grout Cleaner is a specially formulated tile and grout cleaner used to remove tough dirt and stains from tiles and grout as well as mould and mildew from grout surfaces. Suitable for most common tiled surfaces.

WHERE TO USE Davco Tile and Grout Cleaner

Surfaces

Most common tiled surfaces. Can help remove minor efflorescence from grout surfaces. Removes tough dirt and stains from tiles and aged grout and helps remove mould and mildew from grout surfaces.

Tiles

Ideal for ceramic, mosaic, quarry and slate tiles.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Test product in an inconspicuous area first

1. Place 2-3 drops on the tile.

2. Wait 15 minutes.

3. Rinse well and examine when dry to determine if the product is suitable for use.

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Davco Tile and Grout Cleaner is an acid based product which can affect newly installed grout and may etch some specific types of tiles

• The grout must be fully cured before using the product

• Do not use on grout which has been installed for less than 28 days

MIX PREPARATION

Mix Process

1. Add Tile and Grout Cleaner to a clean plastic bucket and dilute with water at a ratio of 10 parts water to 1 part Tile & Grout Cleaner (5L of water to 500ml Tile & Grout Cleaner).

APPLICATION

Always use a saturated mop or sponge to wet down the surface with clean water before applying product

1. For normal cleaning, dampen a mop or sponge with the solution and wipe over the surface before rinsing immediately with clean warm water.

2. For heavily soiled areas apply a greater quantity of the solution. Allow the affected area to soak for up to 10 minutes and then scrub with a stiff nylon brush before rinsing well with clean warm water.

Clean-up & Return to Service

• Use generous quantities of clean warm water

Safety

• Do not use with any other detergents or cleaning materials

• This product contains a dilute acid. It is recommended that PVC or similar gloves and eye protection are worn when used

• Avoid prolonged contact and always rinse the area with clean, warm water

• All tools and containers should be plastic. Do not use with metal

• Avoid splashing or spilling on surrounding areas

• Do not use on polished marble, limestone or metallic glazed tiles. Always conduct a test patch before use to determine product suitability
