Soudal Strong as Nails Mega Grab is a solvent free, fibre re-inforced ultra-high performance, premium grade gap filling construction adhesive. Soudal Strong as Nails Mega Grab has high initial grab – up to 300kg/m2 making it ideal for bonding very heavy materials without slump. Repositionable for up to 30mins. Suitable for heavy duty vertical and horizontal bonding applications, both inside and outside. At least one substrate should be porous. Water-based so low odour and low toxicity (VOC).

Properties
Soudal Strong as Nails Mega Grab is:
• Fibre reinforced for increased end strength.
• Initial tack: 300 kg/m2 (full surface bonding)
• Suitable for bonding on uneven surfaces.
• Direct application onto one substrate
• Excellent adhesion on many porous materials both in interior and exterior applications.

Applications
Soudal Strong as Nails Mega Grab provides:
• Very good adhesion on all usual porous building surfaces.
• Is suitable for solid fixing of materials like wood, synthetic materials, stone, wall tiles, metal on surfaces of concrete, stone, plasterwork, wood, chipboard etc.
• Is suitable for bonding panel work, panels, skirting boards of wood and PVC, cable tray and the most frequent decoration materials.

Shelf life
At least 24 months in unopened packaging in a dry storage place at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.

Substrates

Substrates:
All usual building substrates

Nature:
Clean, free of dust and grease.
At least one of the materials to be bonded must be porous.

Surface Preparation:
No pretreatment required.
There is no adhesion on PE, PP, PTFE (Teflon®) and bituminous substrates.
We recommend a preliminary adhesion test on any substrate.

Application method
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and loose materials.
Cut the tip off the cartridge, screw on the nozzle and trim to the required angle and bead size.
Apply in beads onto one surface, press together strongly and maintain parts together for 24 hours with temporary fasteners or by clamping.
Strong bond after 24 hours, full cure up to 7 days.
Store in cool and dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C.

Cleaning:
Fresh with Soudal Swipex or damp cloth.
Cured with Soudal Adhesive Remover or removed mechanically.

With the same material

Remarks
• The applied pressure and not the duration of the compression will determine the ultimate strength of the bond.
• Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
