Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer – 20 Litres
GENERAL
Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer has been specifically formulated to provide excellent wear and abrasion resistance and at the same time totally protect concrete and paving surfaces.
Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer is a single pack two-coat system and is suitable for factory floors, car parks, driveways, garages, verandahs and concrete pavers.
Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer has excellent resistance to mineral oils and extended resistance to petroleum fuels.
PRIOR TO USE READ THESE IMPORTANT DIRECTIONS
SAFETY DIRECTIONS
Please ensure adequate ventilation and avoid breathing vapours.
Do not use Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer whilst smoking or near light or flame.
Remove all non-canned foods from area if adequate ventilation is not possible during application or drying.
AVOID CONTACT WITH SKIN OR EYES.
Should any irritation occur please seek Medical advice.
On smooth surfaces, slip resistant additive should be added to the sealer to reduce the potential for slipping when wet, particularly on sloping surfaces.
SURFACE PREPARATION
General –
The surface to be sealed must be thoroughly clean prior to the application of Auseal Curite Concrete Sealer.
Contaminated Surfaces –
Grease & oll etc. Use degreaser to thoroughly clean the contaminated areas. All oil and grease must be removed prior to application. This can be checked by ensuring that the areas contaminated are porous. (ie. Absorb water).
New – Smooth – Slate impression concrete.
Acid Etch using 1 part Hydrochloric Acid to 40 parts water. Ensure this is applied evenly and neutralise the acid with soda ash. Wash off with copious amounts of water. The surface must be thoroughly dry prior to application. No responsibility can be accepted or any express or implied warranty given when performance of the product is affected by surface preparation, method of application or any other circumstances beyond the company’s control.
FIRST COAT
Stir thoroughty. It is advised that the first coat should be diluted by 15-20% using AusSeal Curite Solvent. Apply the first coat by broom, roller or airless spray. Apply evenly at a rate of 4-5m2 per 1 litre.
SECOND COAT
Stir thoroughly. Apply second coat neat (not thinned) by broom, roller or airless spray ensuring the application is as even as possible. The second coal should cover 6-7m2 per litre. Avoid sealing at temperatures exceeding 30°C.
CURING
Approximately 7 days subject to ambient temperatures.
CLEAN UP
Wash all equipment thoroughly in AusSeal Curite Solvent and allow to dry.
CAUTION
Sealing concrete, slate, paving or slate impressioned concrete etc. may cause surfaces to become slippery particularly when wet.
STIR WELL BEFORE USE
FIRST AID:
ADVISE THE DOCTOR TO TREAT THE SYMPTOMS
IF INHALED:
Remove from further exposure.
If discomfort persists seek medical assistance.
If breathing has stopped resuscitate.
EYE CONTACT:
Flush thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.
Seek medical assistance.
SKIN CONTACT:
Wash contact area with soap and water.
Launder contaminated clothing before re-use.
INGESTION:
DO NOT induce vomiting because of solvent aspiration.
Milk drinks may soothe.
Seek Medical assistance.
